Terms & Conditions

 Introduction 

These terms and conditions form part of your agreement with Seafood at Home. By accessing our website, registering as a customer and ordering products you agree to be bound by and comply with these terms.

Delivery Policy 

As a company we comply with the highest standard of food safety management systems. It is our guarantee to you the customer that you’ll always receive your order in a safe and timely manner. Your orders will be delivered directly to the door of your home or business on the next available delivery day for your area. All orders are dispatched in our HACCP approved temperature controlled courier vehicles. It is the responsibility of the customer to be present when your order is delivered, or provide a detailed description at the checkout of where the goods are to be stored. It is advised that if you are cannot be present for your delivery that you provide appropriate storage for your goods to be placed into. i.e. esky, fridge or freezer.

If you are not present and/or have not provided details of where your delivery is to be stored at the checkout, then a re-delivery fee of $40.00 will be charged to your allocated credit or debit card. You will be contacted by one of our helpful team members to organise a delivery time on the next available delivery day. In order for your order to be despatched, you must provide a delivery address that is located within one of our delivery areas. You own and are responsible for all products once they have been delivered.

Below is a list of delivery fees charged by Seafood at Home. All fees stated are charged in Australian Dollars. Delivery fees are as follows:

Orders placed between the value of $0.00 - $60.00 = $20.00 Delivery fee

Orders placed between the value of $60.00 - $120.00 = $10.00 Delivery fee

Orders placed above the value of $120.00 = FREE delivery

Returns & Refunds Policy

Due to the perishable nature of our products, Seafood at Home can only offer a refund in limited circumstances. If you believe that the product you have received is either faulty or not as you ordered, you will need to notify us with the details within 24 hours of receiving the product. All refunds will be at the discretion of Seafood at Home and will be charged back to your credit card, usually within 7 business days. Orders cannot be cancelled once they have been processed for delivery. If you wish to cancel an order you must contact Seafood at Home before your order is packed for delivery. For order cancellations please email your details to sales@seafoodathome.com.au

Privacy Policy

Collation of Information

In order to use the Seafood at Home website, we may require information from you so to provide the best possible service. All correspondence may also be collected and stored, particularly in regards to sales, support and accounts, including email. Any information collected by Seafood at Home is collected via correspondence from you or your company. This may be via our website, email, telephone, mail or fax. Details collected from Seafood at Home customers are required in order to provide you with our products and the highest level of customer service. Correspondence is recorded to provide service reference, and to assist in our team training and development.

Storage of Collated Information

The security of your personal information is important to us. When you enter sensitive information such as credit card numbers on our website, we encrypt that information using Secure Socket Layer technology (SSL). When credit card details are collected, we simply pass them on to be processed as required. We never permanently store complete Credit Card details. We follow the accepted industry standards to protect the personal information submitted to us, both during transmission and once we receive it. We will not pass your personal information onto 3rd parties.

Security Policy

Seafood at Home uses ANZ eGate for its online credit card transactions. ANZ eGate processes online credit card transactions for thousands of Australian merchants, providing a safe and secure means of collecting payments via the Internet. All online credit card transactions performed on this site using the ANZ eGate are secured payments.

  • Payments are fully automated with an immediate response.
  • eGate is a secure payment system operated and maintained by ANZ
  • Your complete credit-card number cannot be viewed by Seafood at Home or, any outside party.
  • All transactions are performed under 128 Bit SSL Certificate.
  • All transaction data is encrypted for storage within ANZ eGate data centre, further protecting your credit card data.
  • ANZ eGate at no time touches your funds; all monies are directly transferred from your credit card to the merchant account held by Seafood at Home.

Legal Policy

We reserve the right to disclose your personally identifiable information as required by law and when we believe that disclosure is necessary to protect our rights and/or comply with a judicial proceeding, court order, or legal process served on our website.
